Despite lots of problems getting the karts put together at the opening round of the FKS British Championships at Buckmore Park, Alfie put on a stellar driving display at what was his first time racing at the circuit.
It was a collection of firsts for him, winning his first ever heat in the in final heat of the Sunday and after two third places in heats one and two, this put him on pole for the final (another first for him). All this as well being his first time in a Wright kart (used for FKS) and the first time in the Fusion Motorsport Cadet team.
Unfortunately the set up wasn’t quite right for the final and he only managed fifth place overall, but nonetheless a fantastic days racing and a great start to the FKS campaign. Roll on GYG for rounds two and three !
